INTERESTED IN THE PRAYER CHAIN?

The Prayer Chain is an important ministry of the PPC congregation. Members of the Chain offer prayers for those whose names we share on Sunday mornings as well as prayers for those who contact the Chain directly. Prayers are offered by the members at their convenience during the week.

If you would like to be a part of this special ministry or would like more information, please contact a member of the Prayer Chain - Liz Hoversten (617-7338) or Jill Porzel (742-3988).

THE POWER OF PRAYER

            The PPC prayer chain is

a dedicated group of people

convinced of the healing power

of prayer.  It has two purposes,

it instills the habit of healing prayer

 and the people praying are

convinced that intercession of

prayer works. The Portage

Presbyterian Church has a prayer

chain.  There are a few members

and others are welcome to join.

 There are not regular scheduled

 meetings but members receive

updates from the church and

others.  We also receive updates

per Pastor Dave after we have

put someone on a prayer chain

of their current condition.    If you

are interested in being part of the

 PPC prayer chain, please contact

 Liz Hoversten.  Prayer requests

 are also welcome.  No specific

 reason needed.  God wants

people to pray and God hears

peoples prayers.  God bless those

in need of prayer.  Information on

the prayer chain will be provided

 quarterly.
